Thursday weigh-in

A little bit of good news, I weighed myself this morning, thinking that not being careful with what I ate on Sunday - Wednesday would have caused a gain, but the scales showed otherwise:

Weight: 59.3kg
Body fat: 31.7%
BMI: 26.35

As I said in my post last night, I now have 23 days before I go back home - about 3 and a quarter weeks. I would like to be under 55kg by 4 April (when I go) - meaning I have to lose about 4.5kg - about 1.4kg a week. I know for long-term weight loss you should be looking at losing between 0.5-1kg a week - and even though it's possible to lose weight quickly it's harder to keep it off. But I'm really going to step it up over the next few weeks.

I'm studying two post-graduate courses at the moment (a Graduate Diploma and a Masters) - have exams for the grad dip this weekend then a couple of weeks off. My Masters has only just started for the semester, and as much as I really want to do well, I don't have any assessment for a while; so I am going to put in some extra effort at the gym now - because I know when I have exams and research papers due for my masters they will become my priority.
