General update and gyms

I know it's only my 2nd day of being on a diet, but I'm happy with how I'm going.

Happy with what I've been eating, have been drinking a lot more water, and went to the gym after work today and did a Body Combat class.

Having moved from interstate, it's a new gym for me. I can't help by compare it to my old one. Firstly, they don't seem to have enough cardio equipment for the number of members. Secondly, they don't have TVs (this isn't that big a deal, but still, it was nice to be able to watch Friends while I was on the treadmill). Most importantly though - it isn't airconditioned!!! We live in Australia!!! I guess I need to look at the positives, I did probably sweat a lot more in Body Combat than I have in the past!

There are obviously "superior" gyms I could join, but they would probably more expensive, and I would have to take public transport to get to them. I know I'm not that motivated!

I did enjoy Body Combat today though - by the end I was almost dead, but the instructor was really nice. A bit more aggressive than some I have had in the past, but not like the Commando on The Biggest Loser - more just trying to get you to put in as much effort as you can and go for it.
